who's who at Wimborne folk

The Wimborne Folk Club originally came into being nearly fourty years ago when some friends got together to sing a few songs. Over the years the club has met in various pubs and clubs around Wimborne. Sessions have been held in The Crown and Anchor, The Bell (twice), The White Hart, The Churchill Arms and The Mount. We moved to The Horns Inn and then to Wimborne British Legion, where stayed for eight years, and then The Rising Sun and again at the Horns for a further four years. We now find ourselves At the Cafe@the Allendale , and you are sure of a warm welcome.
We are proud to have some of Dorset's finest singers and musicians playing regularly in our midst who also guest at venues and folk clubs in the wider area.
